Client Spotlight: Catastic! Products
Catastic! Products, based in Overland Park, Kansas, approached the Kansas City SEO Group for help with building an online presence, and increasing sales of their flagship product on Amazon.
When we began work with Catastic, they had the basics in place. The company had a great product, a Twitter account, and a website. Our first recommendation was to build out their social accounts so that they could find, engage and interact with a larger audience.
The next step in the project was to review the existing website – to find out what was working, what wasn’t, and what could be improved. We discovered that while the initial site had a good design, there were essential sections that the big three search engines would be looking for, but were not present. We filled in the gaps, and then made sure that the site was optimized for mobile. In early 2015, Google began directly penalizing websites that were not optimized for mobile. We then build a video platform to reach a specific, but very large audience.
The results speak for themselves. We were able to get Catastic! increased visibility, higher search engine rankings and on page one of YouTube for their product. This in turn translated into sales, reviews, and satisfied customers. The charts and images below show the power of correctly done search engine optimization.
